What We Repair
Labor prices are per computer and assume drop-off (bench) work in Lexington; in-home repair is billed at the $75 first hour / $60 after instead. Parts are always quoted and approved before ordering.
Hardware Diagnostic (drop-off)

Wade finds exactly what's wrong and quotes the repair before any work. Approve it and the $49 disappears into the repair price. Decline it, or the machine isn't worth fixing, and $49 is all you pay — you get the findings either way.
Slow Computer Tune-Up

One computer: junk files cleared, startup programs trimmed, updates caught up, settings optimized. If the real cause is a dying hard drive, Wade tells you and quotes an SSD instead of selling you a tune-up.
Virus & Malware Cleanup
$79
One computer: thorough cleanup of viruses, spyware, adware and browser hijackers, post-cleanup check, and protection configured. Active ransomware is assessed and quoted separately.
Overheating / Fan Cleaning
$59
Desktops and standard laptops: internals cleaned, fans checked, fresh thermal paste. Thin laptops that need full disassembly are quoted after a look — usually $59–$99.
RAM Upgrade
From $69 + parts
Labor to install and test the right memory for your machine. Parts quoted first. Some thin laptops have soldered RAM and can't be upgraded — Wade checks before you buy anything.
Power Jack / Charging Repair
From $79 + parts
Charging connector replaced on most laptop models. Ports soldered to the motherboard or hard-to-source parts are quoted after diagnosis.
Laptop Screen Repair
From $129 + parts
Labor to replace a cracked or dead screen on a standard Windows laptop or Chromebook. Touchscreens, 2-in-1s, and unusual models are quoted after a look. Parts approved before ordering. The $49 diagnostic is waived when you approve the repair.
MacBook Screen Repair
From $199 + parts
Display assembly replacement on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Newer models and liquid damage are quoted after diagnosis, because Apple screens vary a lot by year. Parts approved before ordering. The $49 diagnostic is waived when you approve the repair.
New Computer Setup & Transfer
$79
One computer: Windows/macOS setup, updates, printer, email, your programs reinstalled, and up to about 100 GB of files moved from the old machine. Larger transfers, or an old drive that's failing, are quoted first.
Operating System Reinstall
$99
One computer: your files backed up (where the drive allows), fresh Windows installed, drivers and updates done, files put back. If the drive is failing and won't give up the files, recovery is a separate quote.
Hard Drive / SSD Replacement
From $99 + parts
Failing drive replaced (usually with a much faster SSD), Windows reinstalled or cloned, files moved where the old drive allows. Parts quoted first.
Data Recovery
From $99
Accidental deletion, formatted drives and failing drives that still respond. Assessed and quoted before attempting; no recovery, no recovery fee. Physically damaged drives may need a specialist lab, which is quoted separately.

Drop-off: $49 diagnostic. Approve the repair → the $49 is waived. Decline, or it's not worth fixing → $49 is all you pay. In-home: the visit is $75 for the first hour (that covers the diagnosis) and $60/hr after.
"No fix, no fee" applies to remote sessions and flat-rate software repairs (tune-up, malware cleanup, reinstall). It doesn't cover a declined hardware diagnosis or parts already ordered — that's the honest version.
