Support labor, billed as used

On-site support (Lexington & Jackson area)$125/hr
Business IT assessment$99/hr
Onboarding & initial cleanupQuoted after assessment

Servers, networking, Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration, backups and incident recovery are scoped and quoted as their own line items.

How it starts

  1. 1Assessment. Wade inventories your computers, network, email and backups, checks what licenses you already own (Microsoft 365 Business Premium already includes Defender for Business), and writes up what he finds.
  2. 2Written scope & quote. Exactly which devices are covered, what's monitored, alert hours, who's called, what unattended access is permitted, and what's excluded. Onboarding cleanup is quoted separately rather than buried in the monthly fee.
  3. 3Pilot, then roll out. Agents go on one or two machines first. Once installs, patching, alerts, remote access and billing are all proven, the rest follow.

What "managed" means here

  • Signed service agreement covering devices, installed software, collected data, permitted access, alert hours, included labor, exclusions and offboarding
  • MFA, unique credentials per customer, least-privilege access and audit logging on every management console
  • Security response and general help desk kept separate — a 2 a.m. threat gets the security team; a printer waits for morning
  • Backups as their own service: protected data, retention, failure monitoring and restore testing spelled out
  • Thirty days' notice to leave, documentation and credentials handed back, access removal confirmed in writing

Also: websites, booking systems and back-offices

Wade builds and hosts the systems local businesses run on — online booking with deposits, customer management, online stores. If your website and your office computers both need looking after, one person handles both.

See five real sites he built

Good fit

  • 3–25 workstations in Henderson or Madison County (or remote-only anywhere in the U.S.)
  • You want one accountable local person, not a ticket queue
  • You handle customer or patient data and need to show you take security seriously
  • You'd rather pay a clear monthly number plus labor as used than guess

Probably not the right fit

  • You need a guaranteed 15-minute human response at 3 a.m. for non-security issues (that's a larger MSP with a staffed help desk)
  • 50+ endpoints, multiple sites, or formal compliance audits with dedicated compliance staff
  • You want "unlimited everything" for a flat fee — Wade doesn't sell that because he can't deliver it honestly

Business IT — straight answers

What does "24/7 managed detection and response" actually mean?

A security vendor's analysts (Bitdefender MDR or an equivalent service) watch the security software on your workstations around the clock. If something malicious happens at 2 a.m., they investigate and can isolate the computer from the network before it spreads. Wade is notified and handles the follow-up with you the next business morning. It is a security team responding to threats — not Wade personally fixing a printer at 2 a.m.

Is help-desk support included in the $39?

No, and that is on purpose. The $39 covers security, patching, monitoring and reporting for the workstation. General "my Outlook is doing something weird" support is billed at $99/hr remote or $125/hr on-site, so a five-computer office does not pay for support it never uses — and a chaotic office does not get unlimited labor for $195.

We already pay for Microsoft 365 Business Premium. Do we need this?

Maybe not the security part. Business Premium includes Microsoft Defender for Business. Wade will check what you already own before quoting, and may recommend managing what you have rather than replacing it.

What about our server, network and backups?

Those are scoped separately after the assessment. A server is a different responsibility from a laptop, and backups need their own plan (what is protected, how long it is kept, who checks failures, how restores are tested). You get a written quote for each — nothing gets absorbed into the workstation price.

How is our access protected?

Your company gets its own separate environment in the management console — never mixed with another customer. Wade uses multi-factor authentication, unique credentials per customer, least-privilege access and audit logging, which follows CISA's guidance for managed service providers.

What happens when we leave?

Thirty days' notice, no termination fee. Wade removes the agents and security licenses, hands over documentation and admin credentials, and confirms in writing that his access has been shut off.

Start with a short assessment

Tell Wade how many computers you have and what's giving you trouble. He calls back to schedule — no obligation, no sales pitch.
